The Paediatric Orthopaedic team offers a comprehensive service to children from Sheffield and the surrounding areas who have hip problems.

We run a screening service for developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) and a complete treatment system from splintage to reconstructive and salvage surgery.

Unique hip services

We are one of the few centres to offer hip arthroscopy and deliver joint conserving surgery in conditions such as Perthe’s and SUFE.
