Ward 4

baby sleeping in a hospital bed

Ward 4 (formerly M1) is a busy general 20-bedded medical ward where we care for children aged 0-4 with a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions.

The ward has eight single rooms and twelve bed spaces in three bays.

Each bed or cot space has a comfortable camp bed for a parent to stay overnight.

We also have a play room for children with toys and our own play specialists to keep patients entertained.

There is a parents’ room which has tea and coffee making facilities.
