Departments currently supported by us in this way include the Critical Care Unit, Paediatric Surgery, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Infectious Diseases and CAMHS.
We can provide evidence for patient care, research, management and service development to inform your work, update polices or guidelines, support an audit or research project. Please note that we do not undertake searches for students writing assignments.
Complete the literature search request form and we will normally respond to your request within two working days.
The search will be completed to an agreed deadline and we will email the relevant results to you.
You will work on a one-to-one basis with a Clinical Librarian to undertake a literature search based on your clinical/management query.
If you would like to improve your research skills, we offer a comprehensive programme of information skills training, including how to search NHS healthcare databases (HDAS) and critical appraisal of quantitative research.
