Dentistry and Exodontia

Our Dentistry and Exodontia Department sees children up to the age of 16 for a range of different dental needs including:

  • provision of oral health care to anxious children
  • provision of oral health care for children with special needs
  • oral health screening of oncology, haematology patients etc.
  • specialised management of children with oral and dental developmental problems
  • management of damage to teeth and mouth following traumatic injury
  • extraction of deciduous and permanent teeth
  • surgical removal of impacted teeth

We also see children who demonstrate intellectual, medical, physical, psychological and/or emotional problems.
