Weekend Words – supporting your child’s language at home

This is a series of videos made by Speech and Language therapists and assistants within the Sheffield team, giving ideas to support children’s communication at home. There are also videos to support routines and the return to school following the coronavirus pandemic.

Helping to say words clearly (Syllable clapping)

Using signs and symbols (Going back to school)

Using pictures to help with routines (getting ready in a morning)
