Mr Madan qualified from Bombay University in 1990 and trained in Wessex. He undertook fellowships for Joint Diseases at New York University 2002 and Sheffield Children’s Hospital 2003. He underwent Hip Fellowship in Berne in 2004.
Mr Madan is also a Fellow of several Societies (BOA, ISHA, BLRS, BOFAS, BSCOS, Skeletal Dysplasia, HJD-NYU, OUBS, ILM).
Research and training
Clinical research in hip surgery – research lead for Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. His research interests in the University of Sheffield are stem cell, bone, and biomaterials.
He has a four county referral practice in young adult hip problems and has published and lectured internationally in Cairo, Sweden, London, Bangalore, Birmingham and Hyderabad over the last eight years.
