This Saturday 5 March is Super Saturday for Sheffield Children’s. Come and visit us at our children’s health bus throughout the city and meet the team!
Super Saturday is all about making sure children and young people get the care they need as quickly as possible.
We’ll be giving advice on improving tooth health to avoid hospital visits, together with a range of other healthy eating and living tips.
Bus timetable 5 March:
Page Hall Medical Centre, Owler Lane, Sheffield 9.30 am to 12.30 pm,
Tesco Montgomery Terrace Road, Sheffield, 1.30 pm to 4.00 pm.
We’ll also be at Sheffield’s Savile Street Tesco, where we will have a children’s health stand 9.30 am – 3.30 pm offering a full range of health advice.
Thanks to support from Tesco, we’ll also have information posters in 40 South Yorkshire Tesco stores giving advice on keeping healthy teeth and gums, with some free giveaways of children’s toothpaste and brushes at selected larger stores.
The children’s health bus and oral health awareness initiative are among a range of activities on Super Saturday. Keep an eye out for more information about the rest of the work we’re doing!
