Hi I am Carrie Mackenzie and I was elected as the Medical and Dental Staff Governor in 2014.

I have been a Consultant at the Children’s Hospital for more than 20 years and before that was a doctor in training here.

We have a long history of providing excellent patient care but with increasingly difficult times ahead for the NHS we continue to face major challenges in delivering a service we can all feel proud of.
